“The Wheel of Fortune. He who made the Heavens named a Guide, who transfers vain goods from one blood to another.” — Virgil

Overview Edit

The Wheel is a huge, torture device in the Fourth Circle. It turns constantly, crushing the souls beneath with its weight. When he first comes across the wheel, a battle against multiple demons will break out, consisting primarily of lust demons, a Glutton, and an Arch Demon. Dante uses an Asterian Beast to knock the great wheel over onto a lake of molten gold, and confronts the damned soul of his own father upon the wheel.

Trivia Edit

  • In "Inferno", Virgil explains the Wheel of Fortune to Dante as they travel through the Fourth Circle of Hell. He explains how the turning of the wheel results in all the events, both good and bad, that occur on Earth.
