Overview[]
The Fire Guardians are a stronger version of the Fire Minions. They appeared at first as nothing more than wisps of smoke until they are about to attack Dante. It was at that point that they suddenly appeared as a figure composed of raging fire and flames. So long as these foes are in their smoke form, they are completely invincible to any kind of attack. Only when they are briefly in their fire forms, can they be extinguished by a strong blast from the Cross. These enemies are also sometimes seen in the presence of Heretics who would make them completely invincible to Dante's holy attacks. Holy Magic would still affect them.
